The Club run the radio race car series round 5 at its site in frankley on sunday which also marked the end of the "9 day megga madness"and to go out in style the club built the biggest track to date for the series and the club in genral
the track consisted of 58metre x 68metre area which incorporated a set of tripples a set of doubles and a design made By Jess Grant haply named "jezes end" the club also designed a raised pitlane and a heatboard designed by Andrew Taylor all of these were used at the event to promote the club and also to show what the club had acheived in just 4 weeks of the storage container going on site
the meeting saw 1 heat of practice,4 qualifyers and extended finals and saw simon willetts of Marsdons club Take 1st place in the 1/8th rally cross followed by Mark Redmond and Mark Johnson in a very respectable third
In truggies saw Club Driver Paul Lissitter come first followed by Club Driver Micheal Cunningham come second followed in third place by Maxbashings Neil Mcrea ,In Monsters 1st place went to Colling Long with second going to Dez Chand followed in third place By club Driver Mandy Scott,TQ for Rally Cross went to Simon Willetts and Under 16's Went to Anthony Conroy
All in all the club belives it is now firmly in the minds of many drivers and hope they will come back very soon and support the club again
